I have been eyeing plane tickets over to Arizona for the coming month but the prices are pretty much staying where they are no matter when I want to leave. My buddy was going to fly down here to visit but he couldn’t find the right deal. The one place that is bending over backwards to get tourists is Las Vegas Strip hotels. There is no short supply of cheap Las Vegas hotels. Every single day I hear at least one radio ad for super low Sin City rates or see something about Las Vegas packages online.

Las Vegas casinos are doing everything short of paying people to stay with them. In some cases they are paying tourists with casino, drink, shopping and food vouchers. A few friends got back from Sin City a couple weeks ago and had a blast. They even got in on some UNLV tail gate action. Don’t ask me how. Between college football, NFL and the MLB post season there is a lot to do for sports fans.
