flamingo las vegas

I have never been to Las Vegas but I can tell you, you have to look for the good food. It doesn't come to you. Most of the stuff they offer for "cheap-cheap" is garbage. I have been to Reno and I know it's the same. I had friends that had to work in Las Vegas on a job for four months and said that most of deals were only good if you have no taste. However, they also said that there are exceptions. The Flamingo Las Vegas does have a heck of a deal if you are clever enough to ask. Apparently, Flamingo Las Vegas post signs all over discussing their great steak (might be prime rib) dinner if you go to their restaurant at the top of the hotel. The Flamingo Las Vegas advertises all over that they have this $9.99 or so feast available. The problem is when you get there, the restaurant is all white lines and really fancy and the sign is mysteriously missing. They are probably hoping that you will stay and order something else and forget the deal. You won't even see it on the menu. You have to ask. Immediately they will bring you the deal. This way, you can dine at the Flamingo Las Vegas in an elegant setting and not eat the yuck the dish-out elsewhere. The line is nearly non-existent as well. Yeah, no crowds!
