las vegas wedding, las vegas dealsMy sister is getting married this weekend in the Santa Fe area, and I had a niece who got married two weeks ago in Las Vegas. She wanted a Las Vegas wedding because that line of the family really likes to cash in on Las Vegas deals, and they like it there. My sister, on the other and, is the antithesis. She is getting married on a hiking trail where she spent her first date with her soon to be husband. I think I would rather go to a Las Vegas wedding than a wedding in the middle of the winter on an outdoor trail at 7,000 feet. The wind will most likely be blowing, it will probably be cloudy, and I hope they don't plan an outdoor picnic dinner, so her immediate family who are attending do not freeze to death. She was worried about what to wear, and I suggested a snowmobile suit. A family that can go from a glitzy Las Vegas wedding one month and to an organic, outdoor wedding in the winter time on a mountain has some diverse people in it, indeed.
