Las Vegas is a lot of fun, but it's also a place where you can lose a lot of money.  When I go there I stay at the Golden Nugget.  It's not quite as expensive as Las Vegas strip hotels but it's still really nice.  It's on Freemont Street which is a lot of fun.  It seemed to be a little more casual environment to me.  I know that there are cheap hotels in Las Vegas, but some of them are far away from any excitement.  The casinos on Freemont Street also had lower priced tables for blackjack and craps.  The Las Vegas casino inside the Golden Nugget is also really nice.  I would recommend for anyone I know to stay there.  There are times, like anywhere else, that the rates are lower so keep an eye out for any Las Vegas deals at the Golden Nugget!cheap hotels in las vegas
