You can get cheap Las Vegas hotels for the Holidays and New Years.  Look for cheap hotels in Las Vegas through multiple venues including Travelocity, the Las Vegas tourism site, Orbitz, and other travel related businesses.  Look for Las Vegas strip hotels from the MGM Grand to Treasure Island.  As you look for cheap Las Vegas hotels, also consider Las Vegas packages that include great Las Vegas deals such as Las Vegas coupons to cool shows, dining, and information on other great attractions.
