las vegas strip hotels

You don't have to be a high roller to get around the Las Vegas strip hotels these days. In addition to the high-tech monorail service that was added to the strip recently, there is now a new bus service launched by Vegas.com. According to an Associated Press article published in The Dallas Morning News last week, "After two years of driving tourists up and down the Las Vegas Strip for $2 each way, the regional transportation authority's double-decker Deuce bus is getting new competition. Vegas.com, the travel and booking Web site owned by the Greenspun Family of Companies, launched its Arrow, a high-tech alternative that goes door to door to hotel-casinos on the Strip and downtown and costs $2.50 per ride. The buses feature touch-screen monitors that allow passengers to buy show tickets and make restaurant reservations along the way. For $10, passengers can ride the bus and Las Vegas Monorail all day." This yet another convenience offered by the millions of tourists who flock to the Las Vegas strip hotels each year, traveling on Las Vegas packages and staying not just at the Las Vegas Hilton, but also in the many cheap Las Vegas hotels.
